Office Policies and Procedures Regarding Dental Insurance
We'll file your insurance claim as a courtesy to you if we have all your information on the appointment day. Know your benefits, as you'll need to cover the estimated amount not paid by insurance. Insurance is required to pay claims within 30 days; any balance unpaid after that is your responsibility.
- Filing insurance is a courtesy, and we are not responsible for how claims are handled.
- No insurance pays 100% of all procedures; most cover 50%-80% based on your plan.
- Benefits are set by your insurance, not our office. "Usual, customary, or reasonable" (UCR) fees vary and are often outdated, leading to lower reimbursements.
Insurance is there to help, but it's important to understand its limitations and your responsibilities.

CareCredit is a great option if you’re on a budget because you can pay for your dental expenses in installments.
